What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a hardworking athlete who has been a leader on my team since my sophomore year. I work hard on and off the field. I have a nose for the football and a play maker on offense. I also attained a 3.5 gpa at one of the most prestigious high schools in the country.
Marist 2024 defensive back prospect has good energy on each play and you have to be impressed with his acceleration to the football. Henderson really explodes in the direction of the ball carrier and strikes low. He is a technically sound tackler keeping his head up and driving his legs for 5. You can see his general athleticism on full display when he is at running back, watching him weave around defenders making sharp cuts. Henderson’s agility is underrated honestly, and we like how he gets around blockers and changes directions. Henderson looks like an intriguing SS prospect at the next level, but we would like to see him have a bigger impact against the pass right now too. He is mostly defending very short passes when in coverage. Very promising player, who plays with excellent intensity, just wondering how he will continue to fill out his frame.
