Martin reads the ball carrier like a natural and flows to the football with outstanding acceleration. He is a quick starter, and can close really well. Big hitter too, Martin just explodes through his attempts at the waist. Definitely has legit speed for his position, some of the best for his recruiting class. Can change directions really well, and like the hustle he shows getting after from the weakside. Martin is just flat out relentless. One of the best WILL prospects in the class of 2020. Very close to making a few interceptions too. Would like to see him play with more depth in fact with how fast he can cover the field. Martin should end up with a long list of offers honestly, his speed is at the P5 level, now he just has to fill out his frame, but cannot teach the way he tracks a ball carrier and tackles. Martin’s 4.64 40 time that was clocked at The Opening this March was one of the fastest times of any athlete over 200 lbs at the Atlanta combine. Cannot teach the speed Martin shows, but also very good football instincts.
