What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
What makes me stand out as a future collegiate athlete is I am driven to succeed in all areas of my life. From keeping my grades up to being successful on the field, I always give 100%.
Impressive quarterbacks have been coming out of Creekview the last few years and Gantt continues the tradition. He is a big heavy set quarterback who does a decent job moving around the pocket but is not going to do too much with his feet. Release is a little off and drops down too much and is not very quick. He throws a pretty ball though that is really catchable. The senior does an excellent job of leading the receiver from 40 yards out. Gantt could be a pretty good QB at the next level for a smaller school – he seems to read the defense well and has really good relationships with his receivers. Arm strength and foot speed seem to be the biggest issue for Gantt. Worth noting that the senior also played defensive end this year, and is just a tough all-around player who has a passion for the sport.
