Baker has pretty fluid hips and can rotate them over showing above average acceleration. He does a nice job of playing the football up top – doesn’t get his head around on the ball though. He looks pretty good in man coverage though, at least his speed looks good sticking with the receiver. Looks like his best game came against Marietta. Baker hustles his tail off. Honestly would like to see him get stronger and more physical. Not much of him getting off blocks, in fact he seems to have trouble with it. Needs to be more aggressive, but that’s only half of it, Baker needs work in the weight room. Also, we do catch him at times hopping in coverage instead of sliding his feet, that’s just wasted motion.
