Googer was tied for the team lead with 6 INT’s returning a few for a score. His 11 PBU’s are pretty solid. Watching his film, and you have to like how well the 2020 DB high points to the football. He does a very good job of getting inside positioning on the receiver. Pretty light back pedal and doesn’t take too many missteps. Googer breaks off assignments quickly and got a few of his INT’s that way. Looked good in coverage against D1 caliber WR’s. Pretty tough in press coverage, uses hands well to knock receiver off balance. Good footwork at the snap too.
