The South Atlanta QB is way bigger than most who have run the triple option for this squad, and I guess he is completely over with that, and is now at Mays HS. He’s got a large frame at 6’3″ and around 205 lbs. Pretty hard to knock him off his feet, tackling from a bad angle and he will just step out of it. He gets caught up juking around too much, and just needs to hone in getting up field. Very powerful lower body for Banks and arm tackles just do not have much effect for the 2020 recruit. Passing is not terrible, he hangs it up there for his receivers to get under. Form is workable too. Banks is a quality option QB – he’s uses to the system and makes some pretty quick reads dropping back in these passing situations. A little more speed shown on film and I think FBS schools would be interested in recruiting as an athlete. He should do really well at Mays, and really impressed with how he improved as a passer.

This kid is a dual threat QB, although he’s not a speedster, his arm is impeccable, and he moves the chains.
