Dabney played QB this year so that Riverside Military had more offense, but also got some reps at DB where he is projected to play at the next level. The coaching staff are very high on the 2021 recruit and going up against some of his opponents, he looks like a no doubt P5 athlete. Very smooth runner, breaks off a few long plays in the return game. Dabney has very good acceleration and can blow by defenders with angles on him. As a cornerback that’s obviously very helpful. Good tackler even dating back to his sophomore year where he had some explosive hits right after the catch, but is more at FS this season it seems. Dabney was one of the best players in Class A. You might be better off watching his sophomore film if you want to scout him as a DB, but overall, he should attract a lot of P5 & G5 interest.
