May is a pretty explosive athlete and at our combine he measured out with a 9’5″ broad jump and solid 32″ vertical too. The class of 21 athlete is a springy player who can make tight cuts and impressive change of direction really showcases through his route running. May makes good cuts into the open field and shows natural vision once he makes the initial catch. He broke off some big plays his junior year against some of the better defenses on his schedule even. May plays with good confidence and sells his routes extremely well getting excellent separation. He looks like a solid slot receiver at the next level. He definitely needs to continue to add weight and looking at weight lifting #’s there is a good bit room to improve. That would help with May breaking more tackles, which is currently lacking on his highlights.
