What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Work ethic. Size and length.

Crowell came into this fall, and we had some expectations given his frame, and honestly the updated height and weight is even more encouraging. The 2022 DL continues to keep growing, and since he continues to do so, it’s hard to know where he might end up. At 6’5″ and 245 lbs. though, he has the potential to be over 290 lbs. at the next level. That said, how does he move with this big frame? He moves fairly well laterally, and is able to scrape off blocks and make tackles on the perimeter. Doesn’t use his hands too well, and a little slow getting out his stance too. Crowell has good upside with his length, and you see that in instances breaking up passes at the LOS. I think the upside is there, but the production is still lacking. Seeing him take a jump in terms of skill, especially with his hands and feet could certainly grab the attention of P5 programs, but he’s not there yet.
