Cook is the type of athlete at the offensive line that most schools should be all over. As an OG at the next level is a perfect fit to be a road grading offensive guard. Plays really well with leverage and keeps a really flat back while blocking. Powerful hands at the point of attack with excellent placement too. Defenders off balance stand no chance against Cook, who will drive them to the turf or simply push them aside even. The 2021 recruit has very good leg drive too. In fact, he has quick feet in general, and you see that potential as a pass blocker too. Cannot teach Cook’s motor, plays until the whistle is blown. Seems to be a high character player, once the play is over he’ll even help up the guy he just pancaked. Definitely one of the more efficient blockers in his class, pancake numbers have to be off the charts.
