What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I feel that I have the work ethic and attitude to play football at the next level.
Williams was named Region Offensive Player of the Year in Region 5-5A. He was the leading passer in Dekalb County in 2017 with 1830 yards passing. The lanky lefty has really good footwork, steps into his throw with a nice high release point. He’s a good athlete, but doesn’t run for too much. He uses his quickness to escape pressure from the pocket more times than not. He has a long running stride and has a good understanding of moving the chains, resetting the downs and not taking the big hit in the process. Williams has a lot of potential to play at the next level. He needs to work on his weight lifting considerable, which should add a lot more zip to his passes. He has a great frame to work with and should attract a lot of colleges interest during the offseason.
