Logan was among the top special team returners in the state of Georgia while also playing at various spots in the defensive backfield for Whitefield Academy. The high IQ defensive back prospect reads the QB’s eyes well, shows good technical skills with his footwork, and makes a break on the football while it is seemingly being thrown. Logan is a competitor, never going down easily on contact while on offense and meeting the ball carrier low for heavy tackles on the flat. He doesn’t really take a play off; even impacting special teams with blocked field goal attempts coming off the edge. At the next level, he is a good fit to play safety. He has a great IQ for the game, nice ball skills to attack the pass, and his ability to track the football deep downfield is among his best qualities. Also, his secure tackling in space suggests playing over the middle is a better all-around fit. Since last summer, Logan has grown an inch and has gained another 10 lbs. with some serious increases in his weight lifting results too. There is little doubt that Logan has taken an athletic jump over the last year, and couple that with his great football instincts, and you have a potential breakout recruitment during the evaluation period and summer camp season.
