Davis is a run first QB with excellent field vision. He has some legit urgency with the football in his hands. He makes hard cuts in the open field and is very good at changing directions. The Vidalia signal-caller has some legit speed. He accelerates quickly but has the jets to blow by a defense. Davis is definitely an option caliber of QB. His passing is not nearly as established as his running, but you got to think with the baseball background he has pretty good arm strength. He does need some work leading his receivers, and a lot of that has to do with his footwork, where he is just not transferring enough weight into his front leg while throwing. I’m very impressed with the creative runner, he has some legit upside as an option QB and we expect all three academies to be all over him.
