Williams had a very good junior year making some big clutch kicks throughout the year while also showing excellent consistency on his XP’s going 48/48. The 5’11” kicker is a solid athlete. He has a good leg on him making balls from just under 50 yards out. During the 2019 season he went 12/19 Williams made All-State honorable mention on our site, and was very close to making 1st team too. He definitely improved his touchbacks in 2019 getting right at 46 on the year, which is a 20 increase from the year prior – granted they did play more games making it all the way to the state semifinals. A good takeaway though is that he put 46 into the endzone out of just 68 and was a legit weapon on KO’s against Lanier in the playoffs. Williams just needs to continue to fill out his frame and get stronger, there is still a lot of room for him to improve on distance. He gets pretty good leg extension and for the most part has pretty good height on his kick too. During the playoffs he went 5/7 scoring 28 points in 4 games, including a very clutch game against heavily favored Valdosta where he knocked in 3/3.
