Brian Wright was once again the featured back this year for Lambert who by and large surprised most experts in the state with their excellent play. The senior from Lambert has good vision running between the tackles and does a good job of keeping his feet moving through contact. The powerful back runs with authority and good pad level while also making sure to keep the ball tucked away high and tight. Wright can also play a hybrid OLB/SS role where he is especially effective playing out in the flat. His defensive film is the final few minutes of his SR highlight reel.
