What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

First team all region

Brett, much like his older brother, shows good athleticism and size. The 2020 athlete seems to have some quality speed getting down the sideline and using all of his 6’2″-6’3″ frame to catch the football over top of the defender. He’s got some good acceleration, makes defenders miss out in space and gets up field quickly. Production was solid last year, he made All-Region/Area and hauled down 562 yards on 36 receptions and 5 touchdowns. He needs to work on his route running – just not enough separation in short-intermediate routes. Landis can cruise by a defensive back right at the snap, showing a quick release, which goes back to his good acceleration. Getting stronger in the lower body, showing him break more tackles after the catch are all areas that Landis can improve upon, and that’s completely contingent to his work in the weight room, but cannot deny his natural ability to get around tackles right after the catch. Showing a much better burst with his first step on his release, Landis has been a big play waiting to happen his senior year, looks like he is set exclipse last season’s stats, and Landis should really be considered a nice vertical threat at the next level.

2019 Regular Season STATS: 915 yards and 7 TD’s
