Ivey is easily one of the biggest blocking backs in the state of Georgia and moving across the LOS he shows really good quickness meeting his responsibility and then outstanding leg drive through his block. Ivey is a load, he can flat destroy a linebacker and his ability to get the 2nd level is well above average for his position considering his frame as well. The 2019 recruit could play at a number of levels, it really depends on him fitting into the scheme but what he shows on film is the physicality to knock most defenders off the ball. He shows good potential as a pass receiver, but didn’t get a ton of action at the same time. Ivey could improve his hands, their placement and the leverage he gets on his opponent but definitely like the power and tenacity the 2019 recruit shows consistently. I can see where smaller colleges would be interested in recruiting him as a 3-4 DE too.
