What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

What makes me stand out as a future collegiate athlete is my understanding of being a STUDENT athlete. I am and always will be a student first. I study concepts that are new and challenging for me, I work hard to improve my academic skills and understanding within my classes, and I train mentally and physically to strengthen abilities and improve my weaknesses. All of these skills I use to perform well in school transfers onto the field as an athlete too. I continue to study the game, I work hard in practice/games, and I train mentally and physically year round so that I can be the best me I am capable of being.

Stats:
Tackles 36 – 28 Solo/8 Assists (4.5 Average per game)
Sacks – 5 – 41 Yards Lost (0.6 Average per game)

Swinson is coming off six sacks and thirteen tackles for loss as a sophomore and he only followed that up with a double digit sack season where he made All-State in the process. Local media seems to be very big on the 2020 recruit, he has a nice motor and the length to be a pretty good pass rusher at the next level. He is already on track to qualify with the NCAA and commanding a solid test score to boot. Getting out his stance quicker, showing more aggressive hands and using his length as more of advantage is an area where he can improve, but I think the Chapel Hill prospect has a ton of potential. He should continue to grow into his 6’3″ frame, and you got to like how frequently he got into the backfield. He is just scratching the surface in the weight room, and think he can add a real explosive element to his body.
