Burns is a specimen at 6’4″ and shows pretty good speed when he gets into the open field. He’s pretty much the primary receiver for Sonoraville, and when they set up the blocking for him on these screen passes he gets good chunks of yardage. He’s a bit of a matchup nightmare. Makes very hard comebacks showing nice quick feet. The 2020 WR has very good size, and he’s just a hair away from breaking off some much longer runs. Burns shows some pretty impressive ball skills where he takes advantage of his length. His best of his career is by far against Murray Co. At 6’4″ and 195 lbs already I could see some college being interested in Burns as a TE even. I want to see him break more tackles after the catch. Burns has added 10 lbs to his frame this offseason, hard to find many athletes across the state with his frame and running stride, just needs more production, but if I was a D1 school I would be extremely interested in the very athletic 2020 recruit. There are flashes of elite hand-eye coordination.
