The Wood twins are definitely good football players. Austin has a nice burst to his step as a running back and gets upfield quickly. Gets vertical with his running, could very well be a better fit at b-back next year as a senior if he continues to add weight. Really like the hustle and urgency that he plays with – the 2021 recruit takes a hand off like his hair is on fire. Good acceleration, cannot say enough, really helps with defender passes out in the flat. He is a nice fit in a 3-5-3 defense where his speed can have impact making plays out to the sideline. Tackling is pretty good, but this where he differs from his twin, he needs more time in the weight room as his tackles are not nearly as efficient. Definitely believe his agility numbers, the 2021 recruit really jumps on film in that capacity.
