What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Speed, catching the ball & Being able to go up field and make people miss

McGee has been starting on the varsity since his freshman year. The speed but small cornerback prospect committed to Georgia State in the spring of his junior year. What you have to recognize right away on film is the shear speed that McGee displays on film. His top end acceleration into his full sprint is really good. He does a nice job of flipping his hips and sticking with receivers downfield. McGee gets downhill and shows little hesitation closing on the ball carrier in the flats. He does nice job of settling into his tackle attempts and delivering solid tackles in space. McGee really pops on film with his speed. That doesn’t completely surprise when you hear about his 10.60 100m time from this spring. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the offensive coaches over at Georgia State wanting to get McGee on that side of the ball honestly. The 2024 prospect is definitely set for an All-State caliber season in 2A this year, especially at returner.
