Watts is a big time athlete who flies across the middle of the field. His top end speed is legit for the safety spot, Watts covers a lot of ground and has a long stride. His length is solid at around 6’1″-6’2″. Shades towards the play really well, and against the run he is very effective. Nice hits in the middle of the field. He drops hips and does a nice job getting lower than the ball carrier. Like everything about Watts’ game, he looks to be one of the better FS’s in the state, and his ability to stop the run and defend pass is balanced, granted would like to see more PBU’s his junior year. Watts had another 20 lbs. to his frame and is now right at 200 lbs.
