Lester was part of the dangerous Rockmart rushing attack that mowed through opposing defenses last year. First glimpse of his film, and it’s obvious the 2019 back runs with really good pad level while carrying the ball high and tight. He shows really good initial acceleration, can break through the hole clean. He is a natural at making defenders miss in 1 v 1 situations. Top end speed is a question though. He is a physical athlete though, shows good balance, and has the determination to break through bad arm tackles. Lester also plays linebacker at Rockmart, but probably better suited as a SS or nickle at the next level. Overall he looks like a really quality athlete at the next level and could really end up at a number of positions but think his natural ability to see the field and find cutback angles can be best used on the offensive side. Lester has gained 5 pounds from last fall, at the next level he should end up right around 200 pounds.
