Boykin looks the part, and I remember scouting him a while back at Lagrange, but lost track with the change of schools. Well, it looks like some colleges did not, and he already holds a bunch of P5 offers after last spring (2018). Production wise, he needs to improve. He’s got a nose for stopping the run, and very strong lower body too, but Boykin doesn’t seem to producing a ton at the HS level. At one point he was a 4 star recruit, but have not looked at any rankings recently. He has a good frame to add a lot of weight though, and I can see him becoming an undersized DT who can move well. Keeping his energy consistent and being stronger with his hands are two areas to really improve going into senior year.
