What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I consistently rank as the most agile athlete on my team. I have great size, hands, long arms, run great routes and block to the whistle. I am strong physical and aggressive. I am a sure tackler and averaged double digit tackles my first two years at Lassiter. I moved to TE last year and have worked to become a great asset to my team at that position. I practice daily against two of the best DB's in the state and have become proficient at both blocking and making challenging receptions in traffic. I will start on both sides of the ball this year. I have a very high football IQ.
Bickford has a good frame and really put in the work this offseason heading into his senior year. It’s showing too, he’s already playing a much larger role in the offense, even highlighting his skills with designed plays. The 2018 TE has always been a solid blocker, and is a physical runner coming off the catch. He carries his weight really well, and it’s a bit confusing why now FBS or FCS schools have offered yet. He compares favorably to other TE’s in GA that we have seen, he is making plays against DB’s with FBs offers too, and his academics should separate himself from the pack.
