Evans is a bouncy athlete and even if he doesn’t have a 38″ vert, he certainly shows a nice explosive burst right when he gets the football. Route running is not very good, he doesn’t look very crisp and he is just okay at selling his fakes. Uses head to misdirect CB but doesn’t change out of breaks quick enough. He is a little clunky in his first few steps on his release. Doesn’t accelerate too quickly either, and looks more like a possession receiver. Evans has solid hands, he doesn’t have many plays where he makes full extension, but a good player.
