Traylor does a nice job of tracking the pass and an excellent job of creating separation to catch the ball. His ability to change directions is very impressive, and he makes hard jump cuts where he puts defenders on skates. His ability to make a cut after the catch is impressive. Traylor is a legit FBS caliber athlete. His route running is coming along, but it’s more his outstanding quickness that leaves defenders completely turned around. Traylor is also a FS and he picked off several passes last year. He does a pretty good job of lining up his tackles but needs to work on dropping his hips and actually making a legit attempt instead of just throwing his shoulder at the ball carrier. He has a lot of upside, and I bet he lands a good bit of D1 offers throughout his recruitment. His frame and explosive jumping makes us think that FS is the better fit, but either way, he shows some legit versatility.
