At 6’2″, 275-pounds, Devon has the size and strength to compete at the next level with ease. His best game came against the Camden County Wildcats in which he registered 9 tackles, 2 for a loss, and 1 sack.

When asked about his future, Holmes said, “I want to play college football and major in business management when I get there.”

The Lowndes student-athlete boasts a 2.9 GPA and is on the cusp of getting it over 3.0 by the end of this semester. He has made a 3.3 his personal goal by the end of his high school career.

Currently, he has offers from St. Augustine, Albany State, Tusculum, Tuskegee, Hampton and Savannah State – five of those coming just the last month. The senior has been visiting colleges this fall, and has taken trips to Georgia Southern, West Georgia and Jacksonville State.
