Oliver Is U.S. Army All-American Bowl Bound

Tobias Oliver, a rising senior for Northside-Warner Robins, announced on Twitter last night that he was nominated to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Quite the honor for Oliver; the bowl’s roster is composed of some of the top high school players in the country.

tobias oliverOliver plays quarterback for the War Eagles, but most colleges like his versatility as an athlete capable of playing multiple positions. One thing is for certain: Oliver is an offensive weapon.

He starred in the Elite JR Classic last December making one big play after another. Oliver had runs of 52 and 40 yards while also snagging a 59-yard pass reception.

Oliver has good size at 6’2″ and weight around 180 pounds. His 40 time has dropped this offseason, and he reportedly ran a 4.48 on April 12.

The Northside-Warner Robins star is more than just a great athlete. The fleet-footed quarterback has always been clutch. He led his school to a state championship back in 2014 as a sophomore over Mays, making some key runs late in the game to seal the victory.

It was apparent at that point that Oliver had the intangibles of a true winner. When it matters the most, Tobias Oliver tends to make big plays.

Currently Oliver’s recruitment has been relatively quiet. We are assuming colleges are waiting to see Oliver camp and play multiple positions this summer. But make no mistake, Oliver will play FBS football. Making the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is big news, and it should wake up a few colleges who are sleeping on him.
