North Gwinnett’s Cade Fortin Has a Power 5 Arm

Colleges have been offering Cade Fortin over the last few weeks from all across the country, and if you spend half a minute watching his film, you see why. The North Gwinnett rising junior has a rocket attached to his shoulder.

The offers truly began last August when California offered the talented Class of ’18 quarterback, but in the month of May his recruitment has truly heated up. Rutgers, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, North Carolina, Arkansas State and West Virginia have offered this month.

We asked Fortin if any one school is standing out: “I’ve been hearing from UNC probably the most.”

Camps are quickly approaching, but Fortin has not made any decisions yet.

“I haven’t planned my camps yet but I’m going to talk with (head coach Bob) Sphire and figure my schedule out soon,” he said.

With double-digit offers, Fortin certainly will have his options this summer. Stay tuned @RecruitGeorgia on Twitter to hear the latest recruiting news in the Peach State.
