Maryland First to Offer Raykwon Anderson

Raykwon Anderson, a rising sophomore for Charlton County, received his first college offer earlier today from the University of Maryland. Anderson announced earlier via Twitter:

The prolific Folkston native did a little bit of everything last fall as a freshman. He was lined up all over the field for his high school due to his game-breaking ability to take the rock all the way to the house.

Anderson is an elite weapon at returning punts too. He understand angles well and does a great job of using his body and blockers in space.

Anderson is only 5’9″, 156 pounds now, but his elite skill set was just too good for the Terps to pass up. Anderson does an outstanding job of using his body to shield the CB away from the ball. His agility and balance make the super-elusive back nearly impossible to tackle.

Anderson has elite speed, and as a freshman earlier this year posted an unreal 10.98 100 meter dash. With fall just a few months away and plenty of college camps coming up, expect more offers for the electrifying athlete from Charlton County.
