Peachtree Ridge freshman Miles Friday already has 6 verbal non-committable offers to date with Louisville being the most recent one today. The athletic, two-way player is an explosive back on the offensive side of the ball with great vision and on defense he lines up as a defensive back, making plays all over the field.

Despite not playing on Peachtree Ridge’s talented varsity squad, Friday’s recruitment has blown up as of late. The class of ’20 prospect has also received offers from Maryland, Rutgers, Memphis, and Indiana in the month of February, so we asked him what it felt like to receive all of this recruiting attention so early.

“Getting offers early excites me, but more than that, it makes me want to work harder, because I will have more eyes, and pressure on me. I wan to prove to everyone that I deserve it.”

No question about it, Friday is quickly becoming a coveted prospect for the class of 2020, even receiving an invite to Nike’s The Opening in March. He said that he has no planned college visits at the moment, but would like to get to Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina for their Junior Days. Out of the schools that are recruiting him, Friday said that Maryland and Louisville stand out the most, but with his recruitment just beginning, anything could change.

The 2020 recruit is certainly a prospect to watch moving forward. At 5’11” and 172 pounds he already has a good frame to add more weight and who knows how much taller he might grow. Friday looks like a natural talent at running back, he weaves through the defense with relative ease, so it will be interesting to see where he initially lines up for the varsity squad at Peachtree Ridge.
