Class of 2022 offensive lineman Grayson Mains has continued to see his recruitment heat up. During last fall, Mains earned an offer from Mississippi State and a then Arizona State not too soon after.
With the new year Mains’ recruiting momentum continues with offers Michigan State, Liberty, and UCF. That’s now 5 FBS offers under his belt.
Mains is a very athletic 6’5″ 265 offensive lineman who is also a Junior Olympic Javelin thrower and also does shot put and discus as well.
The 2022 recruit has very good fundamentals, excellent hand placement, and does a very good job of driving his legs. His pass blocking is especially refined for his age, and what is even more promising the incredible room for growth in the weight room.
No doubt, Mains could make tremendous gains here this offseason, as he slowly fills out his 6’5″ frame. The junior recruit will quickly become a hot commodity among this recruiting class for OL.
Personally, we love his upside and think he is one of the top pass-blocking offensive lineman in this recruiting class, but extremely encouraged by the progress he has made at getting more physical at the point of attack over the last year, especially when run blocking. Mains is definitely a recruit every FBS school should have on their radar.
