Four FBS Schools Offer Daniel Charles in One Day

Daniel Charles, a Campbell High School rising senior, was offered yesterday by Charlotte, East Carolina, Georgia State and Tulane all in the matter of a few hours. The Class of ’17 strong safety told Recruit Georgia what it feels like to go from zero offers to four so fast.

“It felt better than Christmas! I just kept checking my phone after my first offer and turns out that the offers just kept rolling in! I’m just blessed, and I have to give God the glory. This lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders.”

Charles (6’1″, 190) broke down his relationship with each school thus far.

Charlotte: “They were the first school that I really talked to before getting offered. They showed the most love first, and that will be a big factor in my recruiting decisions.”

East Carolina: “I was invited up to East Carolina’s spring game but I didn’t really get the chance to meet the coaches.”

Georgia State: “I met Georgia State before at my spring practice, but communications were short. Today the defensive coordinator stopped by and I just happened to be in weight training, I guess that’s when they decided to offer.”

Tulane: “They really didn’t communicate as much as the others but, I’m blessed and thankful for the opportunity that they have given me.”

Watch Charles on film and you can see why four FBS schools jumped on the athletic safety prospect. The rising senior is a headhunter moving around out on the field.

He anticipates the play and plays well with his eyes, but by far his best attribute is hustle. Charles has an outstanding motor, making plays all around the field of play.

The FBS prospect plans to make a few visits soon. “I plan on visiting Georgia State next weekend and I’m trying to set up another visit with Charlotte and Tulane as well.”

Charles’ recruitment is just heating up so stay tuned to @RecruitGeorgia on Twitter to hear the latest recruiting news.
