Dickerson Pops to Reinhardt on MLK Day

Brian Dickerson, a lightening-quick cover corner from Mount Zion HS, committed to Reinhardt on Martin Luther King Jr. Day this month.

He announced via Twitter: “Proud To Say I Have Committed To Reinhardt University.”

CUxWsjJWsAAxJFUBig signings come in all sizes, and Dickerson is no exception. We first saw the lightening quick corner spring 2015, where he was all over the place at the NUC combine. He consistently won his 1 v 1 match ups that weekend along with out attention.

Dickerson’s velcro defensive play led to 4 interceptions on the season and he was awarded major post season accolades.

The senior was voted first team All Region and 2nd Team All Clayton County for his incredible efforts.

Dickerson breaks on a ball so quickly, that it’s nearly impossible to complete a pass.

Almost is an understatement, actually. Dickerson did not have one completed pass against him the whole season. He has incredible instincts and anticipation at the corner spot.

From a technical standpoint Dickerson is rock solid. He has quick feet when backpedaling and his ability to flip his hips and accelerate on the ball is some of the best film I have seen all season at corner.

This is another big pickup from Reinhardt and he will be an impact player for the Eagles later on down the road.

Comment below and congratulate Brian on his Commitment!
