Class of 2017 offensive lineman Charlie Clark announced just minutes ago that he has committed to Tulane.
I want to thank God for the opportunity to say that I am now committed to Tulane University #Rollwave #GreenTeam17 pic.twitter.com/VTLW09dg91

The athletic lineman (6’4″ 270 pounds) is a devastating run blocker, who wreaks havoc at the 2nd level with his speed. He choose Tulane over offers from Appalachian State, Gardner Webb, Charlotte, Georgia Southern, Florida Atlantic, Mercer, Elon, Charleston Southern & East Tennessee State.
SCOOP
Clark explodes out of his stance and is the epitome of a run blocking offensive lineman. He keeps a flat back and pumps his feet to drive the defensive player back. The class of 17 lineman does an excellent job of getting to the 2nd level in Marist’s veer blocking option game but will also straight up manhandle a defensive end. Clark plays the game with a big time motor and this an excellent addition to Tulane’s 2017 recruiting class. Our staff expects a push by power 5 schools eventually, so it was smart by the Tulane staff to close on him early.
Clark is the 2nd commit for Tulane during the recruiting cycle and first from Georgia.
