Alexander Has Great Speed

Archer senior running back Chad Alexander played his best football at the end of the season last year, and that momentum has moved into the offseason where the speedy back has seen a recent uptick in his recruitment. The speedy back broke down the latest around his recruitment.

The Scoop

As we mentioned at the top, Alexander played his best football towards the end of the season. In the first round of the playoffs, he showed his excellent open-field speed going for 173 yards on just 9 rushes and scoring 3 touchdowns. Alexander hits his top speed quickly, and that can be attributed to his background in track and field where his personal record is 10.89 100m time. Obviously, option teams like Air Force, Army, and Navy really like the 2023 recruit’s breakaway speed having offered already, but that should foreshadow upcoming interest from more spread option teams. Colleges will be sure to watch how Alexander adds weight this offseason, but we think he is on the cusp of a big season upcoming this fall after showing flashes in 2021, so it’s definitely a great time to go after the dynamic 2023 running back.
