Elite athlete AJ Terrell announced at lunchtime today his commitment to Clemson. The elite class of ’17 prospect chose the Tigers over Florida and South Carolina.
The Westlake star sprung onto the scene last year where he made impact plays on both sides of the ball. He signed up for a profile on our site last Novemeber, and after scouting his film, it was evident that Terrell was an elite athlete.
Our staff saw him return multiple kickoffs last season where he simply was the best athlete on the field. After the season ended, colleges from all-around the country began to offer Terrell at multiple positions, but most experts conclude that he is best suited to play DB due to his elite coverage and ball skills. Also, his aggressive play and length out on the perimeter at CB makes him a match up nightmare for even the biggest of receivers.
Terrell is the 13th commitment for the Tigers in the class of 17 and he joins fellow Peach State stars Baylon Spector (Calhoun), LeAnthony Williams (Roswell), and Chase Brice (Grayson).
