Air Force First FBS Offer For Nutter

Earlier this week All-Region offensive guard Mason Nutter received outstanding news when Air Force offered the Class of 201 7 player. The Falcons are the first FBS school to submit an offer and the big lineman took to Twitter soon after.

This was a big offer for Nutter, who only held one from Pikeville prior to his May 25th offer from the Academy.

Air Force did a good job of recruiting in the state last year. They received commitments from Romario Johnson, Tanner Holcomb and Ashton Barnes from the class of 2016 and hope to make another big splash this recruiting cycle.

Milton’s Nutter has a lot of potential and is a devastating run blocker, which explains why option-heavy Air Force offered. He has good fundamentals, being sure to keep a flat back, while driving the defender back with his legs.

Nutter stays engaged with the defensive lineman throughout the play, blocking until the whistle is blown. He went up against some talented class of ’16 and ’17 defensive ends during last season and held his own.

Colleges will be eager to get Nutter on campus to see how he competes on 1 v 1’s. Nutter possesses a 3.8 GPA and if you want to view this student-athlete’s profile click HERE
