What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I started all 11 games this year as a junior, I lettered my sophomore season and have improved a lot. I’m also a Honor roll student and a leader on the field.
Davis stays engaged with the defender and does a very nice job of driving his block down field. He keeps his feet churning thru the block and goes all the way until the whistle. Probably the most consistent theme on his film is that he is always blocking until the very end of the play. He does a pretty good job with hand placement too, keeping them square inside the pads, but needs work getting leverage. Solid hip strength, but could get quicker coming out of stance and still needs to flatten out back more. Davis is a highly productive 2021 OG – he might lack ideal height, but I think D1 and D2 programs will be all over him.
