Welcome to another edition of the recruiting recap where we tally up all of yesterday’s offers and commitments to go along with our three players who are heating up, and of course, our sleeper of the day.
Hopefully everyone is doing well and having a productive week! As some of you might have seen on Twitter, but we did get a new intern who will be writing up a few interviews each week on the website during the summer, so go ahead and follow Mike Faulkner on Twitter. He will be graduating from West Alabama this upcoming December with a communications degree and wants to get into television.

Three Heating Up
Bennett Christian
2022 Allatoona
Just a few months back we predicted that Christian was set for an offer explosion from P5 programs, as we view him as one of the top TE’s in a very deep 2022 class here in Georgia. Well, since that March prognostication Christian has received offers from Ohio State, Penn State, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, South Florida, Pittsburgh, UAB and Nebraska. The 2019 Cobb County tight end of the year stands 6’6″ 235 lbs. and has a terrific blend of blocking and receiving skills.
DeTarias Glover
2021 Camden Co.
The 6’3″ 255 lbs. defender we first saw back at the Georgia Elite Classic as a freshman, where physically he stood out among his peers. He had a strong junior year, and the college interest is continuing to mount now. In the last few weeks, Glover has earned FBS offers from Arkansas State and FIU. He’s got a good frame to work with, and we came away impressed with his motor when we saw him live last year against Marietta. We expect more G5 programs to jump in an offer Glover here over the course of June.
Drew Cornelius
2021 Heard Co.
We were late to the party with Cornelius, only really getting his info back in early April, but that doesn’t subside our enthusiasm with his potential to play college football at a high level. The 6’5″ 275 lbs. offensive linemen has good body composition, and just a natural athlete blocking out in space. Army and South Florida have offered recently, and they follow behind 5 other D1 programs as well. In our opinion, it is only a matter of time before Cornelius has double digit FBS offers here. He’s a good run blocker, should continue to fill out his frame nicely and just an FBS caliber athlete at his position.
Sleeper of the Day
Christian Anderson
2021 Rockdale Co.
Anderson measured out with the longest frame in our combines history at 6’7″. The 2021 recruit was primarily at RT last year for Rockdale. In terms of pure upside, the 2021 recruit is near the tops at his position, but needs to show more urgency with his blocking and work more on his hand placement. He has impressive length with a 8’4.5″ standing reach. Anderson shows good leg drive. Needs to work on body control while engaged, and he needs to work on keeping his chest up while blocking. There are flashes on film, but just getting stronger at the point of attack will be big for Anderson – we need more pancakes on film. Overall, he is just filling out his frame, and you have to be impressed with the fact that he maintains pretty low pad level while blocking. He has gained 15 lbs. recently and quickly approaching 270 lbs. Anderson will look to make a jump his senior year, and every D1 program should be watching him closely this fall. Right now, he is getting solid FCS interest but still waiting for that first offer. Anderson was named one of the top OL at the GACA Camp back in early March. If spring practice was held, he would probably have a handful of college offers at this point.
