2018 Offensive Tackle Rankings Version 1.0

Version 1.0 of the Recruit Georgia OT Position Rankings starts off as a Top Ten. Most of these linemen have the length to project as either a left or right offensive tackle at the next level. But that is not a guarantee; they could wind up playing another position along the offensive front. Tackles are the hardest offensive bodies to find.

James Ohonba of Woodland-Stockbridge is possibly the biggest offensive tackle prospect in Georgia at 6-foot-5, 350-pounds. His size and strength are ideal for playing right offensive tackle at the next level. Ohonba already has more than a dozen FBS offers.

Coming in at #2 is Tucker standout Dylan Wonnum who is one of the more athletic tackles in the Peach State. Wonnum has named AAAAAA First Team All-State by both Recruit Georgia and the AJC. He also has more than a dozen DI offers at this time.

The youngest member of this list is Oyenmwen “Junior” Uzebu of Alpharetta. Uzebu is almost a year younger than anyone else on this list and the sky is the limit for this lengthy tackle. Though he has no offers at this time his size and athleticism alone will surely attract serious attention in the near future.

Making his entry at #4 is another sleeper. Hamilton Hall of Chamblee High School has the size and the athleticism to get to the next level. I look for his stock to sore once his film circulates around the country.

Rounding out the Top Five is Christian Armstrong of Warner Robins High School. Armstrong is nearing double digit offers. He most likely projects as a right offensive tackle in college, but only time will tell as lineman usually take longer to fully develop.

Future Recruit Georgia Position Rankings still to come are APB, ATH, ILB and CB.
