2018 Interior Lineman Rankings Version 1.0

Version 1.0 of the Recruit Georgia Interior OL Position Rankings starts off as a Top 12. Many of these athletes play offensive tackle in high school but may lack the length to project as an FBS-level tackle. When these young men get to college, they will be put at the offensive line position that best suits their skill set while helping their school win games.

No lineman in this group had a more magical season in 2016 then Christian Meadows. Meadows led Macon County (12-2) to the GHSA Class A-Public State Championship. He was the left offensive tackle for record-setting quarterback K’hari Lane. Meadows’ efforts did not go unnoticed as he was named Recruit Georgia and AJC First Team All-State. The behemoth has already verbally committed to Florida State.

Coming in at No. 2 is Jamaree Salyer of Pace Academy. Salyer has already garnered over 20 DI offers. He was also named AAA First Team All-State by both Recruit Georgia and the AJC.

Deontrey Hill showed versatility this past season playing left offensive tackle and center at Houston County. The past two seasons, he has blocked for Jake Fromm, one of the most prolific signal-callers in the country. Hill boasts 20-plus FBS offers at this time.

Making his entry at No. 4 is Stephenson offensive tackle Jalil Irvin. Irvin is nearing double-digit offers, which will probably happen before this story comes out. He was honored by both Recruit Georgia and the AJC as AAAAAA First Team All-State.

Finishing out the top five is Warren Ericson of North Gwinnett. Ericson earned AAAAAAA First Team All-State honors by the AJC. He already has double-digit scholarship offers.

Future Recruit Georgia Position Rankings still to come are APB, ATH, OT, ILB and CB.
