Sacovie White was a highlight reel waiting to happen last year for Cass. The rising junior is one of the more explosive players in his recruiting class and just recently 247 sports rated him a 3-star recruit. His recruitment is just starting to heat up, so the 2024 athlete updated us on the latest happenings.

Where have you visited? Do you have more visits planned soon?
“Norte Dame, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, UCF, and Florida A&M. I plan on going to ECU, Vanderbilt and Georgia soon.”
Goals for spring practice?
“Get better at all things like teammates, leader, vocal person, and to try to win our spring game.”
Are you camping this summer?
“Yea I am camping this summer at a lot of schools around the country.”
When would you like to make a decision?
“I plan on making my decision summer of my junior year.”
The Scoop
White was an All-State honorable mention athlete last year who even made our Weekly Top 10 plays last year. He is a freaky athlete with an explosive first step on top of being extremely physical. We like his dynamic playmaking, and his ability to break into the open field for momentum-swinging plays, but it’s hard to ignore the incredible quickness and reactions he also shows at CB. He does a great job of climbing the ladder to break up a pass at the apex of his jump. No matter what position, White is a P5 player in our eyes, (the only main detractor is his lack of size at 5’10” 165 lbs) and we suspect his offers will follow accordingly in due time.
