A lot of movers and shakers from last week’s results, most notably in 7-A where Colquitt beat Grayson 31-7; the game was decided almost by the end of the first half as the Packers were up 24-0. That drops Grayson from the #2 spot to #4 and Colquitt is now at the #3 behind undefeated Lowndes at #1 and McEachern at #2. There is a new #1 in 6-A with Harrison making the top spot for the first time on our site since we started in 2015. In 5-A, Buford continues to their path to an undefeated season with their 2nd win over a top 10 team in 7-A with a game-winning 2-point conversion against Archer that made our weekly top 10 video. The Wolves won 29-28 in overtime. Warner Robins jumps up to #2 in 5-A as well after they beat their rival Northside Warner-Robins 39-0. Not much action in 4-A thru 2-A but Class A Private we have a new #1 in Holy Innocents’ after they beat a top 5 opponent in Wesleyan 31-0 – that’s there 2nd top 5 victory in consecutive weeks. Their dominant rushing attack has been spear-headed by Preseason All-State running Michael Cox. Wilcox County put Clinch County on their heels last Friday where they were up 22-10 during the 3rd quarter but ended up losing 28-22. Wilcox ended up moving up our rankings despite the loss and come in at #4.
