Week 4 was huge, and there was a major ripple effect to our rankings as a result. Previous #1 Marietta loses 28-14 to Grayson, who now moves up to the #1 spot. Peach County, who looked like they were making an argument as a top 5 team regardless of classification, lost to Houston County despite being up 24-10 at one point – they hold onto their #1 spot after beating Northside Warner Robins and Lee County. Also in 5-A, we have moved up Buford to the #1 spot after their impressive start to the year. That’s two new numbers ones in our rankings, and a few more teams moved around as well. What a crazy weekend in the state!
Now for the usual spiel: we have added a ‘Bubble’ section for teams just on the cusp of being in the Power Rankings and also an ‘Out’ to signify teams that have just recently been removed from the rankings.
