TJ Stanley
2025 Toombs Co.
Quarterback

Last Friday, TJ Stanley helped Toombs County to a 31-28 victory over 5A’s #8 Rome. It was their first-ever ranked win over a higher-classification opponent. The SR connected on 25 out of 34 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns along with 60 yards rushing and two more scores. Stanley is a Georgia State commit with a powerful arm and also a tough customer running the football. He is leading Toombs County to the #1 ranking in Class A DI.

Zayden Cook
2025 Chattooga
Running Back

Zayden Cook 338 yards on 17 carries and 5 tds in their 45-20 thumping of Mt. Zion-Carroll. We have highlighted Cook for a while, including just today in the recruiting recap, and this great performance continues his incredible start to the 2024 season. Cook has 60 carries for 849 yards and 11 tds on the season with an insane 14 yards per carry. The T&F standout is showing why he is one of the fastest backs in Georgia this fall.

Cole Trupp
2026 Greenbrier
Athlete

Greenbrier beat Statesboro 43-14 last Friday, and junior athlete Cole Trupp played an integral role. Trupp had 164 yards rushing with 5 TDs and even kicked a PAT. On defense, Trupp totaled 10 tackles and was ferocious in pursuit of the ball carrier. The 2026 athlete stands 6’2″ 220 lbs. with a 4.0 GPA, so the prospect will be one to watch during this next recruiting cycle, as D1 programs will certainly be interested.

Bryce Hart
2025 Ringgold
Linebacker

SR linebacker Bryce Hart had a huge game last Friday with 19 tackles. Ringgold played Rockmart into overtime before field goals decided the contest, 23-20 in Rockmart’s favor. Hart was flying all over the field delivering thunderous tackles that we have all come to expect. You won’t find many linebackers in the state with a bigger motor than Hart; that’s why he is consistently one of the state leaders in tackles.

Will Wallace
2025 Villa Rica
Quarterback

Wallace made some nifty plays as a junior, but his senior film is on another level. Last week in a close loss to Central-Carrollton, Wallace threw for 10/14 passes for 80 yards and one touchdown along with 15 carries for 227 yards and three more scores. Making a tackle on Wallace is like catching lightning in a bottle, he just zaps out of would-be tacklers utilizing his great quickness. Wallace won’t play QB in college, but his ability to elude defenders should warrant college programs to heavily consider his potential as a receiver.

Bryian Duncan
2027 Cairo
Running Back

The sophomore sensation had 16 carries for 300 yards and 5 TDs in their 63-24 blowout over Kathleen, Fl. Duncan has been starting for two seasons now, and last Friday’s performance already breaks the school’s single-game rushing record. Duncan is a great talent with a fluid running stride to go flying upfield. He will be a 2027 prospect to watch closely in the coming months.

Elijah Hayes
2025 West Hall
Running Back

More records continue to be broken in this week’s top performers. For West Hall’s Elijah Hayes, his 7 touchdowns against Johnson-Gainesville helped his team to a 73-0 win. Hayes had a total of 220 yards on the night on just 12 carries, which is crazy considering he crossed the endzone, seven times. The SR running back is explosive, and among the biggest sleepers in the state regardless of position or class.

Darnell Kelly
2026 Peachtree Ridge
Quarterback

Kelly was surgical going 27 out 33 for 316 passing yards and 5 total touchdowns in a 41-7 beatdown of Mountain View. The 2026 passer has an effortless release that gets out fast and is usually on point. Kelly just continues to improve as a passer and is becoming more confident running the football. FBS schools will covet the dual-threat passer in this next recruiting cycle.

Michael Buhay
2025 Westminster
Quarterback

Westminster’s Michael Buhay was 15-22 passing for 318 passing yards and 4 total touchdowns in their 34-13 win over GAC. The 6’2″ senior passer found his favorite target Chase Marable for several long scores but was efficient spreading around to all of his weapons. Historically, Westminster has always been a run-heavy team, so Buhay’s talented arm provides a dynamic that should make them a formidable opponent in 4A.

Ty Jones
2025 Lakeside-Evans
Athlete

Could Lakeside-Evans be the best team in the CSRA? Well, one pugnacious SR might say so. Ty Jones had 185 passing yards and a 79 punt return in their 21-0 win over rival Evans. The 5’8″ 145 lbs. Jones might be one of the smallest guys on the field, but he plays bigger than anyone else. Even on defense, the 2025 prospect hits with authority. The 2025 prospect has that ‘it’ factor and we believe colleges need to take notice.
