Kharim Hughley
2027 Gainesville
Quarterback
Westlake stood no chance against the high-powered offense headlined by sophomore signal-caller Kharim Hughley. The young passer was 17-of-31 on the night for 341 yards and four touchdowns. Gainesville waltzed by Westlake by the score of 41-7. Hughley did a nice job of handling the pass rush and escaping out of the pocket to make explosive throws. The sophomore earned his first offer earlier this summer from Georgia Southern.
TJ Lester
2025 Milton
Running Back
The Milton takeover over 5A continues with a routing for Alpharetta 58-0. Senior back T.J. Lester rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries – a whopping 14.8 yards per carry! Lester ran loose into the 2nd level of the defense, utilizing his excellent vision and incredible balance to break tackles. Lester is on a mission this fall, playing the best football of his career, and is one of the toughest guys to solo tackle in the state.
Rashawn Truell
2025 New Hampstead
Quarterback
New Hampstead wins an absolute thriller against Effingham County, scoring a touchdown with 40 seconds remaining to win by the score of 47-44. Senior QB Rashanw Truell was on fire tonight throwing 33-49 passes for 466 yards and 5 touchdowns with another 2 rushing scores for good measure. His 50-yard bomb to Kamari Maxwell was featured as one of the top 10 plays in the state for Week 3.
Lucas Amos
2026 NW Whitfield
Linebacker
Lucas Amos had 13 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, and 3 sacks in Northwest Whitfield’s shutout 12-0 win over Dalton. The last time NW Whitfield beat Dalton? Go back 20 years ago to 2004. Amos is a physical outside linebacker who is patient at reading the offense and is a punishing tackler in space.
Tae Harris
2025 Cedartown
Defensive Back
Harris had 4 touchdowns on the night, which includes a 40-yard scoop and score on defense in their blowout 63-28 win over Alexander. The starters were called around the half, so Harris’ impressive game comes on limited action. Even more impressive, Harris only had 4 carries on offense, and the longest of his runs went for 75 yards. That play will be highlighted in the 9/3 GHSF Daily newsletter, so stay tuned to see exclusive content on the Clemson commit. We have no Hudl film to clip from the Alexander game yet.
Tanner Savasir
2025 Cherokee
Quarterback
Cherokee record book was smashed after Cherokee scored a record-breaking 65 points in a single game. Senior QB Tanner Savasir threw for 425 passing yards, completing 27/35, along with three passing touchdowns and two more on the ground. Savasir was physical running the football getting downhill and he made some tough passes where excellent led receivers deep downfield.
JR Harris
2027 Central-Carroll
Quarterback
Central-Carrollton takes it to Hiram 44-21 and sophomore signal-caller JR Harris had another terrific game. Harris accumulates 377 all-purpose yards with 5 total touchdowns. He threw for 304 yards and was as efficient as ever, but his rushing numbers continue to impress with 8 carries, Harris had 73 yards and 3 touchdowns. The dual-threat passer does a great job of executing their spread offensive attack with pinpoint accuracy that few in the state showcase on a nightly basis.
Makhi Williams-Lee
2025 Lakeside-Atlanta
With 16 tackles on the night, including a total of 12 solo, Williams-Lee demonstrated the the visiting Macon Co. squad why the senior is committed to NC State. Lakeside-Atlanta was a 27-point underdog against Macon County but ended up winning 26-21 (we picked them to win). Williams-Lee had an additional 3 tackles for a loss and 3 sacks on the night. He was truly all over the field.
Chris Cole Jr
2025 Brooks Co.
Running Back
Back from basic training, and what does senior standout running back Chris Cole Jr do? He puts up 200 yards and 2 touchdowns against 2A’s #5 team Cook and helps his team to a blowout 45-14 win. Cole Jr. is an explosive back with great vertical speed to gash a defense for big yardage. His ability to turn a negative into a positive is amazing. On one play, Cole picked up a botched snap at midfield and scrambled around the defense for a 55-yard score. He is a true difference-maker for Class A DII’s #3 ranked team Brooks County, and figures to be a key component to their state title hopes.
Cole Jones
2025 Deerfield-Windsor
Athlete
Jones helped Deerfield-Windsor to an exciting 33-29 win over Westfield. The senior made the game-winning touchdown rushing from around midfield, straight up the middle of the defense to win the game. Jones had a total of 23 carries for 240 yards and three touchdowns on the night along with three tackles for a loss on defense. Jones is a senior athlete with excellent metrics and production on the field and we feel that colleges are underrating his athletic upside.
