Tojuan Peyton Jr.
2025 Lanier
Running Back
Peyton had 421 yards rushing and all six of Lanier’s touchdowns on the night, but his team came up short 59-42 to #6 ranked Roswell. The senior broke Gwinnett County’s single-game rushing record and his 6 touchdowns put him over 20 on the season. Peyton did this all on 27 carries, which is some serious work. The senior has over 1k all-purpose yards in the last two games. Crazy numbers for the Memphis commit, makes you wonder if more P4 programs might perk up.
Ty Jones
2025 Lakeside-Evans
Athlete
Ty Jones continues the great season with a remarkable individual effort of 468 total yards in their 61-34 loss to Brunswick. The senior did it all though with 247 passing yards and 2 touchdowns another 203 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and even 18 receiving for another score. Jones even has an impact on defense where closes on the ball carrier fast and makes impactful tackles. Lakeside falls to 7-1 on the year, but Jones’ great senior campaign is among the biggest surprises of the season.
D.J. Hudson
2025 Peach Co.
Quarterback
Peach County took care of business and DJ Hudson didn’t need to work overtime. They won 45-14 against Bainbridge, and the senior was 23-of-29 passing for 338 yards and three touchdowns. Hudson has orchestrated a 7-1 season and the Trojans are currently the #2 team in 3A. Hudson’s ability to make the pass rush miss is impressive and a 15-yard scramble had almost the entire Bainbridge team grasping for air. No film from the game yet.
Malachi Render-Fannin
2025 LaGrange
Running Back
The epic season continues for Malachi Render-Fannin with a 268 and three-touchdown performance on 18 carries. They continue their winning ways with a 49-21 victory over Troup. MRF now has 1270 rushing yards on the season and looks to be a frontrunner for All-State in 3A, especially with key wins over rivals like Troup. Marshall offered a month ago, and we feel like more FBS programs will be moving soon.
Gabe Bauman
2025 Richmond Hill
Linebacker
Helping Richmond Hill’s defense secure the 35-14 upset win over Valdosta was senior Gabe Bauman. The linebacker had a team-leading 18 tackles along with a sack and a tackle for a loss. Bauman is a 6′ 210 lbs. linebacker who works his tail off both on the field, in the weight room, and the classroom. The perfect trifecta for a student-athlete poised to make an impact in college.
Robert Henderson
2025 Hapeville Charter
Athlete
Hapeville Charter was the comeback king and senior Robert Henderson was the driving force. The senior rushed for 208 yards and all four Hapeville touchdowns on 30 carries. The final three touchdowns came in the second half to erase a 15-7 deficit, giving Hapeville Charter the signature win over ranked Lovett. Henderson goes by the name “Shifty” and his midseason film underneath lives up to the billing with elusive maneuvers in tight spaces.
Lyndon Worthy
2027 Worth Co.
Quarterback
Worthy was impressive throwing 24-of-27 passes for 381 yards and six touchdowns in their 54-24 win over Bacon Co. The sophomore passer has the team 5-3, currently ranked #6 in our Class A Div I rankings and playing some very competitive football. Worthy is a two-year starter and should be poised for a big playoff performance and is a sophomore passer to know.
Jaylen Elder
2025 Morgan Co.
Wide Receiver
Morgan County held off Jackson by a score of 36-7, but it was tighter than the suggested outcome with a 9-0 lead at halftime. The 2nd half charge was led by senior Jaylen Elder, who had 12 receptions for 256 yds and 2 touchdowns. Elder, often called the Slim Reaper, was offered by USF last week and is currently leading the state in receiving yards with 1135 on the season.
Marlin Mathis
2025 Shiloh
Running Back
Shiloh’s playoff hopes continue to hold after their big 40-33 win over Arabia Mountain. Senior running back Marlin Mathis was clutch rushing for 208 yards on 25 carries and 2 touchdowns. The senior back was changing pace, accelerating back and forth between the tackles and continuously keeping the defense guessing what he would do next.
Bryce Hart
2025 Ringgold
Linebacker
Ringgold senior linebacker had another great performance with an 18 tackles game. He cleaned up two tackles for a loss, pressured the QB four times, and helped his team to a 20-24 win over Sonoraville, where it was imperative to get this crucial region win. Hart is a great athlete at linebacker with over a 10′ broad jump and the explosiveness is realized on the field with impressive tackles.
I vote for Bryce Hart
