Our 4-A rankings have taken a complete turn from the beginning of the season. Our preseason #1 in Cartersville is surpassed for the first time all season by Marist after their dominating 37-14 victory over Denmark. Cartersville won in a shootout against Sandy Creek with the final score 52-42 and now come in at #2, while Sandy Creek slides down from #3 to #5. In Class A Private, Aquinas drops all the way from #5 to unranked after their surprising 22-14 loss to Hancock Central. So more odds and ends that change the rankings, so take a look down below to see where everyone has moved.
Now for the usual spiel: we have added a ‘Bubble’ section for teams just on the cusp of being in the Power Rankings and also an ‘Out’ to signify teams that have just recently been removed from the rankings.

Wheres banks county??? 2A powerhouse averaging 19 a game running the wing T. Obviously biased rankings
Maybe because they are running the wing-t?
They are 3-4 right now and loss to Union County 14-7 last week. Union County is just a bubble team. When Banks played a top 5 team like Rabun County they lost 52-9. They have a good chance of making it into the playoffs, so let’s see how these last 3 games, and how they fair in the 2-A playoffs, but as a whole, I’m not too big on Region 8 with most of the teams currently sporting a losing record.
